Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of protection to your Floranext account. In addition to your username and password, you will enter a temporary 6-digit verification code generated by the Google Authenticator app on your smartphone or via email.
2FA is not required, but it is strongly recommended to help protect your Floranext system from unauthorized access. Even if someone obtains your password, they would still need access to your mobile device to log in.
Floranext uses industry-standard time-based one-time passcodes (TOTP). The verification codes automatically refresh every 30 seconds and can only be used once.
We recommend enabling 2FA for:
-
Shop owners and administrators
-
Users with access to financial reports or payment settings
-
Any staff member with full system permissions
Google Authenticator is available for both iPhone and Android devices.
