Deliveries are a major part of most florists’ operations since not all orders walk out of the door within the customer's arms. Floranext’s Delivery Manager is designed to help manage and create routes for all delivery orders. Whereas the Floranext Driver app is a convenient tool to allow florists to send routes for deliveries to their drivers but also has the drivers update the status of orders in real-time.

Delivery Manager

To get started with the delivery manager, on your Floranext dashboard select Deliveries

On the Delivery Manager page, at the top right, there is the option to select a date to see what deliveries are scheduled for that day. By default when opening the Delivery Manager, the current date is shown.

The “To Deliver” section, will show all unrouted orders that are scheduled to be delivered for today's date or the date you have selected above.

Underneath this section is “Pickups,” showing all pickup orders that need to be filled for the day or selected date.

Next, we have “Events” showing any weddings or events scheduled for the day or selected date.

Finally, we have “Taken/Delivered,” showing all successfully filled pickup and delivery orders for the day or selected date.

This manager can also be accessed by going to the delivery calendar located at Orders Calendar and then selecting any date that has orders to be delivered.

Delivery Routing & Status

With Floranext's Delivery Manager you have the ability to create delivery routes. There are two separate ways to create a route.

  • The first option is to select the checkbox to the left of all the orders you want to route. After all the orders are selected, press the Route button and then select "Route".

  • The second option is to select the Route button on the right and choose the “With Map” option. This will open the Route Map menu.

From here you can see a map of the area around your store, as well as pins showing the delivery locations for your delivery orders.

Simply select the pin for each order you want to add to your route. Once done, the icon will turn green and the order information will be shown on the right.

When you are finished adding orders to the route you can finalize the route by pressing the Route button.
