Creating a Wedding Proposal

First, in your Floranext dashboard, click Proposals

Click Create New, then Create Wedding.

Fill in the Wedding Title.

Next, fill in the Customer Information and click Next, or if you're in a hurry, click Skip and fill out the customer info section later. If a client has planned a wedding or event with you before, you can easily search and pull up their info.

Add the location information and click Complete. Again, this can be added later if you're in a hurry.

From the Proposal screen, the Show All feature can be used to view proposals by Fully/Partially paid, Overdue, or All.

Creating an Event Proposal

The first click Create New, then Create Event.

Now fill in the Event Title.

Fill in the Customer Information and click Next, or click Skip and add this information later.

Now fill in the location information and click Complete. This section can also be skipped and filled in later.

You can add multiple Location and Dates to a proposal. You can also edit and remove excess Location/Dates via the Edit button on the details page of a proposal.

Adding Items to a Proposal

From your Floranext dashboard, click Proposals and find the proposal you'd like to add items to. Then click View and scroll down to where you can see the Add Item button next to any category.

Click the Add Item button and a form will open. Check off the item you would like to add and hit Done.

Click here to learn how to add, edit, or delete wedding categories.

Adding Photos to a Proposal

Navigate to Proposals and choose the proposal you want to add a picture to.

Scroll down to the category where you want to add the picture and click on the camera icon on the left.

Browse for the picture you would like to use and click Open.

Adding a Component to a Proposal

Adding a floral component to a proposal is easy!

After adding items to your proposal, all you have to do is to click Details to be able to add a component to that certain item that you added to your wedding category.

A pop-up form will appear. All you have to do is search the component you wish to add and select the verities you want to include.

Don't forget to click Save when you're done!

Components and Varieties can be added/edited through Flowers & Supplies by navigating to Proposals ➜ Proposals Settings ➜ Flower/Supplies Settings.

How do I Edit an Inspiration Page for a Proposal?

Open a Proposal and click on the "Settings" button at the top right then select "Inspiration".

You can upload up to 7 images. You can click on the "camera icon" and it will take you to your computer files where you can just search for the images on your computer.

You can delete images on your Inspiration Page by hovering your mouse cursor to the middle of the image and clicking the red x icon which will appear in the top right corner of the image.

Take additional notes for the inspiration page in the Description field. Write about the mood or key aesthetic points that you and your customers are striving towards. Any text entered will save automatically after clicking outside the text field.

Note: the Inspiration Page will only print once images are added.

How do I Change the Status of a Proposal?

Changing the status of a proposal is now easier than ever with Advanced Proposals.

In your Floranext dashboard, navigate to Proposals and use the dropdown menu attached to each proposal to quickly change the status.

Once you have changed the status of a proposal, you can use the header buttons to show proposals of different statuses.

How do I Change the Markups on a Proposal?

If you have set your markups in Proposal Settings, they should automatically populate on each new proposal you create.

However, sometimes you may need to make adjustments based on your customer, the season, or your supply of goods.

To do so, navigate to the top of the proposal page and click Settings, then select Markups.

Note: If you adjust your Floral and Supply Markups all previously added items will be updated. If you adjust your Labor Markup, it will only affect newly created items.

Proposal Calendar

By using the Proposal Calendar, you can easily check your events on a calendar view for effortless managing!

You can access your proposal calendar by navigating to Proposal > Calendar.

You can change your calendar by month or by year simply by going to the top right, where you'll see a mini-calendar to choose the month and year.

You can click on any date with an event and view the details of the events that are scheduled on that day.

Upon clicking on the day, just click on that event and go straight to your proposal for editing.
