Connecting to Google Analytics

Floranext offers Google Analytics integration so that you can more easily understand where your website traffic is coming from, at what volume, and when.

Just sign up for Google Analytics and they will provide you with a code. It will look something like this: G-123456.

Please open a ticket to send us this code and we will add it to your system.

When this is done, you will be able to find confirmation in your Google Analytics dashboard that your site is verified.

Verifying Google Analytics

Some services such as Google Search Console and Pinterest Business require verification that you are the owner of the website. There are several methods available for website verification.

Note - the below methods may not work if your Floranext website is a subdomain such as shopflowers.yourdomainhere.com

Google Search Console

Google Search Console can be a useful tool for figuring out where your website traffic comes from. 

From Google: Google Search console is a free service offered by Google that helps you monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot your sites presence in Google search results. You don't have to sign up for Search Console to be included in your Google Search results, but Search Console helps you understand and improve how Google sees your site.

When verifying your site ownership in Google Search Console, choose HTML Tag for your verification method.

You will be given a code that looks like the following:

• <meta name="google-site-verification" content="your verification string">
• Where it says "your verification string" - you should see an example that looks similar to: 

  -dhsoFQadgDKJR7BsB6bc1j5yfqjUpg_b-1pFjr7o3x

Do not copy and paste the entire HTML tag, simply copy the information provided in the space that says "your verification string." This is your unique identifier.

You can now send this text to Floranext to add to your system. When this is done, you will be able to run a test to see that the connection has been made.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is another free Google product that helps you learn more about your website's traffic.

When setting up a Google Analytics account, you will be given a universal code that looks something like G-10982334.

Please send this tag to Floranext to add to your system.

Other Methods

There are some other methods that can be used as well, such as a metatag verification or verification through DNS record (TXT record). Contact Floranext if you need help to determine which will be the best for your shop.
