The Castles MP200L device allows you to process EMV transactions (or chipped credit cards) from the Floranext POS iPad App utilizing a USAePay gateway and your merchant account provider.
Before using the device, be sure you have credit card processing set up on the browser, and the device is paired, then it is ready to use!
Completing a Credit Card-Present Transaction
- Enter in an order on the POS App, then select the payment method Credit Card Present - USAePay,
- Ask your customer to follow the prompts on the device to complete the transactions. If the device asks Credit or Debit, always select Credit. Only Credit transactions are supported.
- The customer should insert their credit card if it has a chip or swipe the card if no chip is present.
- If successful, the app will ask for a signature.
If the transaction is declined for any reason, it will display the reason on the device and on the app. You may try again or select a different payment method to complete the order.
