Can customers track their orders or see their order history?

A customer can track the status of their order by going to the My Account page. A link for the My Account page is included in the order confirmation email and there is a link to this page on the footer of your website in most themes.

For the order to reflect the order status for order tracking purposes, you will need to update the order status from the Orders page.
