Floranext is compatible with many receipt printers. However, if you are buying a new receipt printer for your florist POS, we recommend one of the following.
Supported Receipt Printers
Floranext supports the following Star Micronics receipt printers:
Your printer will need to have an Ethernet interface to be compatible. It is also important to note that you have the option to order swappable interfaces, though be sure to request the Ethernet connection type on your printer.
Setting Up Your Printer
You'll first need to set up your supported printer. Here's how:
- Supported receipt printer
- Standard ethernet cable
- AC power cord
1. Connect one end of the ethernet cable into the connector on the rear panel of the printer. Plug the other end into an ethernet port.
2. Plug the appropriate end of the power cord into the AC inlet on the back of the printer then plug the power cord into a properly grounded AC outlet.
3. Turn on the power switch located on the front of the printer. The power light on the front will turn on.
