Floranext now supports Pickup Only products. These items can be ordered through your website, but customers must choose Pickup at checkout — they can’t be delivered.

What is a Pickup Only Product?
 

• Pickup Only Products are items on your website which are only allowed to be ordered for Pickup only. These are products that you provide which you would not like to allow in Delivery orders

 

 

Why have Pickup Only Products?
 

• Pickup Only Products allow for you to limit a product's availability to only Pickup orders. These can be products which would not be suitable for long distance deliveries or can only be sold in your store

 

 

How do Pickup Only Products work?
 

• When viewing a Pickup Only Product on your website the Product Details page of the item will include the message "Pickup Required" above the delivery date selection
• When customers navigate to Checkout the delivery type for the order will default to Pickup
• If the customer attempts to change the order to a Delivery while the Pickup Only Product is still in their cart, they will be shown a message that informs them that they will first need to remove the product in order to create a Delivery order
• The website will also prevent them from moving forward with the order unless the delivery type is set to Pickup or the Pickup Only Product is removed from their cart

 

Note: If the Pickup orders are disabled for your website, Pickup Only Products will be shown as Browse Only

 

 

How do I create a Pickup Only Product?
 

• On your Admin view go to Products > Product Settings > Products
• Click Edit for the product you want to switch to Pickup Only
• Go to Advanced > Website Pickup Only Product
• Change the setting to "Yes"
• Click Save
