Floranext's new Advanced Nav Bar allows shops to have control of how their nav bars are laid out on their websites. In this article we will cover some of the details of the Advanced Nav Bar.
Table of Contents:
With the 2025 Premium Themes, we are also introducing the Advanced Nav Bar Manager.
How Does it Work?
- To enable the Advanced Nav Bar, navigate to Website > Nav Bar Manager
- Select the Enable Advanced Nav toggle. This will reveal the table below and will automatically replace the default nav bar
- Drag and Drop - once you have nav bar items added to the table you can resort the main nav items by drag and drop. Updates save automatically
- Add Nav Bar Item - select this button in the top right to add new items to the Nav Bar Table. It will open a slide menu with settings described below in the Nav Bar Types section

Nav Bar Types
When adding or editing a Nav Bar Item, you may select between four Nav Bar Types:
- Simple Link: The Simple Link shows on the nav bar on the front end, but does not expand to show any nested links or images
- Links & Image Block: This Nav Bar Item Type allows you to create up to four columns of nested links and select up to two images which may also link to pages
- Image Blocks: This Nav Bar Item Type allows you to create up to four images which may also link to pages
- Text & Image Blocks: This Nav Bar Item Type allows you to set a block of text to show on the Nav Bar on the frontend and up to two images
- Simple Drop Down: This Nav Bar Item Type allows you to create a dropdown similar to the standard Nav Bar for a link on the Adv Nav Bar

Notes:
- The Advanced Nav Bar is only available on the 2025 Premium Themes.
- If you switch to another theme, it will revert to the default nav bar, as though the Advanced Nav Bar is turned off.
- Edits to category positions under Products > Categories do NOT apply to the Advanced Nav Bar.
