Creating Discounts

Now that we've set our product to be discounted in the appropriate category, let's now apply the discount!

In your Floranext dashboard, navigate to Marketing ➜ Discounts and click Add Discount.

On this page, you can set the name of the discount, description, and dates.

You will need to create a unique Discount name for each discount.

Conditions

In the conditions section, you will be adding the rules the discount user must follow.

Click the green plus button, and select Product Attribute or Conditions Combination.

Here, we will select Category. Now, Click the ellipsis, enter your category name, and click the green check mark.

Here, we will select the discount amount.

There are 4 types of Discounts you can set in the Apply field:

Apply as Percentage of Original - Applies a percentage-based discount to the Website Products in the customer's Shopping Cart.

Apply As Fixed Amount - Applies a fixed amount discount to the Website Products in the customer's Shopping Cart.

Adjust Final Price to This Percentage - Applies a percentage-based discount, changing the customer's grand total to a percentage of that total.

Adjust Final Price to Discount Value - Applies a fixed amount-based discount, changing the customer's grand total to that discount amount.

In this example, we will select Apply as Fixed Amount, and enter 15 for Discount Amount.

Important Note: After filling up all the fields necessary and choosing settings, make sure to click Save and Apply Discount button.
