How to set up Product Categories

  • Admin> Settings > POS Settings > Product Categories.
    • We have a number of categories set up by default - you can add your own. 


  • When you are taking an order on the Point of Sale, make sure to select a product category.
    • You can also set shortcuts like Roses to default to specific categories like Cut Flowers.
    • You can make that association in POS Settings > Product Shortcuts.




To see the Product Category Report

  • Navigate to Admin > Reports > Product Category Reports to see sales by category.
