Navigate to Settings > Delivery > Delivery Charge to get started.

Floranext has 2 methods to apply the delivery charge to orders that can be used together or separate, distance and zip code.

Applying delivery charge by zip code is recommended because it simply applies the delivery charge based on the zip code of the recipient's address. It's easy for employees and customers to understand and is the most straightforward. However, some regions have zip codes that stretch out for miles, and for this, Floranext can also apply the delivery charge based on the distance of recipient to shop.

Here are details of the options below to help you choose which is right for your shop!

Option A. Zip Code only (recommended)

Predefine a delivery charge for each zip code you service (e.g. Zip code 12345 has $10.00 delivery, zip code 12535 has  $5.00 delivery.)

Floranext will check recipient zip code against the list of predefined serviced zip codes and if it's not in list, then the 'Out of Area' delivery charge will be applied.

How to Setup:

Enter in all zip codes you service along with delivery charge for that zip code.

Option B. Distance Only

Predefine the distances and charges (e.g. 0-2 miles has $5.00 charge, 2.01-5 has $8.00 charge....)

Floranext will map the recipient address to calculate the distance to the shop, then apply delivery charge according to your parameters.

Note if the specific address can't be found, the distance to the center of the zip code will be used. Also, if the distance is greater or doesn't fall within the parameters you've set, then it will default to 'Out of Area' delivery charge and apply the wire out fee.

How to Setup:

Enter in shop's address along with the parameters for the delivery charge (ex. 0 miles- 2 miles has $8.00 charge).

Option C. Check Zip Code, then Distance

Enter in your zip codes and distances as described above. Floranext will first check zip code against your zip code list, if it's not listed then it will calculate distance to apply delivery charge.

Note if the specific address can't be found, the distance to the center of the zip code will be used. Also, if the distance is greater or doesn't fall within the parameters you've set, then it will default to 'Out of Area' delivery charge and apply the wire out fee.

Alternatives:

Flat rate delivery charge

To apply single delivery charge to all orders, skip over to the 'Out of Area' delivery charge and enter in your flat rate delivery charge here.

Note, the option wire out fee on website should be disabled if using this method to avoid applying the wire out fee to all website orders.
