The Floranext POS is very flexible when it comes to printing. This article explains most common print types, paper and printers

Print Type Overview

Work Order

 Work order includes all order details for internal use.

Prints on letter paper

Tickets

Optional. A perforated stationary that includes card message to save having to hand-write cards and envelopes

Prints on legal-sized stationary by John Henry Co.

Receipts

Receipts are the customer's proof of payment. E-mail receipt to save paper!

Reports

Various reports are available for accounting and shop management.

House Account Statements and Invoices

Statements summarize orders charged to house account for billing period. Invoices can be included to show more order details for all orders on the statement.

Common Printing Configurations

Best

Good for established shops who have delivery orders, carryout orders and house account billing. This setup  will allow you to print customer receipts, tickets (paper provided by John Henry Company,) reports, work orders, swipe credit cards and trigger cash drawer.

Hardware and Paper Required for Best Setup

  • Standard Printer with 2 trays, 1 of the trays should fit legal-sized paper
  • Receipt Printer with port for a cash drawer

  • Cash Drawer to connect to receipt printer

  • Ticket Paper from John Henry Co.
  • Optional Statement Paper from John Henry Co.

 

Basic

Good for event florists, stores without a storefront or with very little carryout orders.


Printing with Basic Setup

To use Floranext on Windows, you'll need: 

  • Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 or later
  • An Intel Pentium 4 processor or later that's SSE2 capable
  • 2 Gigabytes of Random Access memory (Ram)
  • 2 Gigabytes of available storage (Hard Drive)
  • Internet connection: high-speed DSL or Broadband 


Mac 

To use Floranext on a Mac, you'll need: 

  • macOS Sierra
  • iMac: Late 2009 or newer
  • MacBook and MacBook Retina: Late 2009 or newer

To use Floranext on Chromebooks, Chrome OS or Chromium OS just be sure you have the newest versions of the software, please find out how to update by reading your users manual.
